PPADS are a fairly broad bunch and our productions reflect this.  Over the years we have ranged from comedy to farce, drama to musical (sort of), very modern to Shakespeare (well bits of anyway), west end type shows to literature and even the occasional quiz night.

We are a small society - too small.  We welcome new members and there is something for everyone and to suit all interests.  For example, in addition to acting we need people to help plan and construct sets, to assist with and operate lighting and sound, to help with preparation of costumes, to fill in reading parts when someone is away, to provide refreshments (tea and coffee) on show nights and carry out front of house duties on show nights.  There is usually a lot of laughter!!

In addition to the drama we also usually have a few social events during the year - depending on demand and take-up.

If you think you may be interested come along on a rehearsal night (Mondays and Thursdays) or a set work night (Tuesdays) - from 7.30 on each occasion.  We are not the only people who use the premises so it would be advisable to check with our PRO Roger Partington (0161 794 8266) before coming to ensure that we have not been displaced on a specific night, though you are welcome to come on spec provided you accept that we may not be there.
